Between 2007-2011, Sister Germaine documented her life in a covent in Versailles. 
Throughout the time she developed her own instinctive and uninhibited way of recording her life. These images are direct witnesses to Sister Germaine’s aspirations in life. The set up is always similar, using a tripod and looking at herself through the camera screen. Both the audience and Germaine are experimenting with what is happening on stage at the same time, with all manner of errors and unexpected suprising moments. A performative aspect happen throughout the recordings that developed over time.
